Mannfried Funk is a performer and musical contractor for solo cello, string ensembles, chamber groups and fulll orchestras. He is a founding member of Trio Seattle. He also is personnel manager of the Federal Way Symphony and the Heritage Symphony, the Northwest’s newest professional orchestra.
In September 2018, Mannfried performed the world premier of Advice from an Estuary, a creative collaboration rooted in the Beluga Slough of Homer, Alaska, featuring poetry, dance and an original composition by contemporary American composer Lawrence Moss.
